Creative Clinical Supervision

I am a trainee Clinical Supervisor and offer both face-to-face and online supervision for Play Therapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, and school-based staff.

Supervision is a vital space for reflection, growth, and self-care — a place to pause and make sense of the emotional and relational dynamics that naturally arise in therapeutic and helping roles.

What Is Creative Supervision?

Creative supervision uses creative and expressive methods — such as sand, art, objects, metaphor, and movement — alongside traditional reflective dialogue. These creative tools can help you explore relationships, patterns, and unconscious processes that may be influencing your work. By engaging creatively, supervision can open up new insights and perspectives that might not emerge through words alone.

Creative supervision invites curiosity, reflection, and gentle challenge. It supports you to look at your client work from multiple angles, to notice what’s happening both within your clients and within yourself. Through this process, hidden themes often come to light — allowing for deeper understanding, clarity, and growth.

My Approach as a Supervisor

As a supervisor, I bring compassion, honesty, integrity, and empathy to every session. My aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your work openly — celebrating what’s going well, unpacking what feels stuck, and reflecting on what’s emerging for you professionally and personally.

Supervision, for me, is a collaborative relationship built on trust and respect. I want to offer a space where you can grow and thrive, so that you can continue to offer the same to the people you support.

Whether you are a qualified practitioner, a student in training, or a professional working within education or social care, supervision can be a deeply restorative and empowering process.
